Prologue
After the events of Red Sun Rising Myst returned with her sister Katumari Kawakita to Scotland, where she has been staying for the last few months. Everything was fine until the headaches began...
The Shadows of New Orleans have been quiet of late. The street war between the New Orleans Mafia and the Zobop has wound down to low level incidents after Papa Moubassa a Zobop gang leader was killed. Finding shadowruns has been difficult for Solitaire and Speedy but they have found a new job working for Assets Insured an agency set up by Maclaine and Morlaine and now run by Mm Du Ponte and Morlanine who have taken over after Maclaine left with Stripe to go and work for Ares External Security. Assets Insured offers bodyguarding and security work for Mr Johnson, Fixers and meets, as well as performing rescue and clean up ops for FUBAR shadowruns.
Mark was beginning to enjoy a good career as a runner in Seattle. Then he learned that a crazy man name Webb was out to kill him. Time to leave town, and look up some old friends in the Big Easy.

Myst back in town...
speedy solitaire and myst drinking in round 15 - vinnie comes over and says a chap is looking for some runners and will be in tonight to interview.. and we can expect some troll to be joining us and a mage.
Speedy, Solitaire and Myst meet Mark and Steel.
team get hired to body guard Miguel Escobar at a rate of 3K per day for 3-4 days - and 3K danger money team get a SAAB 10-8 Executive for the time
next day:
Team go and get some expensive clothes
then head to airport to pick up the bloke.
Team take Miguel to his hotel - and that evening they take him and his date Trixie Belle to a mafia club that has several other groups of VI Ps and corresponding bodyguards.
At the casino later a guy in a mustard coloured suit comes up and tries to talk to Escobar - and Escobar doesn't know him - but is curious. The man is Mr Bo Ordell and tries to make a deal to undercut Escobar's current suppliers.
Team take shifts to watch over him at night.
Next Day:
Miguel goes to visit Gino Ginelli and talks to him for several hours. Afterwards Ginelli chats to Myst just to see how she is - and Myst mentions that Bo Ordell was trying to undercut Miguel's action.
Ginelli knows Ordell's rep - he's a guy who gets things done.
Ginelli says that he gets a cut from Mr Chase (arms dealer) so to make sure the deal between Chase and Miguel goes smoothly.
Myst heads down to the group - and has a dizzy spell and gets a migraine.
Team take Miguel to a club where he meets with Mr Chase - who's delayed and will be back at 1am.
Later Mr Chase turns up and he chats with Escobar.
Suddenly front doors of club explode and everyone is running out the back, where a claymore explodes and blasts Ricky, Myst and Escobar. Myst knocks down Johnson and both survive. Ricky toasted.
Myst moves over ally way takes cover from a dumpster, drags Johnson with her. Solitaire calls elementals. Mark moves to exit chamber with Sol and Speedy, and closes door behind them. Human SMG bad-guy shoots at Myst. 2 guys pop a grenade each down towards Myst. Myst smacks through a locked alley way door and gets into opposite building.
Sol's 4 force 8 fire elementals go to hit bad guys and all get blatted by a mage mana balling into astral space.
Mark calls his elementals. Speedy blows out some boarded windows of a side office for group to escape.
Myst runs away and away.
Solitaire goes to cover blown out widnows and directs Speedy and Mark to escape.
Team all meet up - Solitaire heals Escobar.
Johnson tells us Chase is gone - Escobar's money is gone. He hires us to get his 50K back for a 20% fee.
Team head back to hotel - sniper knocks down Escobar, then knocks down Solitaire (serious).
Myst leaps over car and tries to get Escobar into car, Solitaire dives to help. Mark tries to spot sniper and fails.
Myst and Sol tug Escobar into car and Speedy drives off.
Team get Escobar to a safehouse and hole up and plan.
Steel holes up in a motel room, with the possibly bugged pocket secretary in a motel room opposite.
Nothing happens.
Next day:
Pocket secretary rings - it is Johnson - he says that police have a warrant out for Solitaire who is reported to have assassinated Ryan Novak - a VIP exec at Elysium Inc.
Team all gather in safehouse, Myst wakes up and lost her memory. Mark mind probes her and loses his mind. Sol slaps Mark - he comes to his senses. Sol slaps Myst - it doesn't help.
Mark mind probes Sol to try and work out why the name of Novak and Elysium seem so familiar.
After lots of waking and slapping, team finally go out and buy anti-schisophrenia medicine - it gets her memory back.
Mark and Speedy go to night club and chat to a guy there and bribe him 500 nuyen for copies of the cctv footage. From watching footage the bodyguard with Mr Chase doesn't seem to try very hard, and Mr Chase doesn't seem to much in a panic. He looks smug - but not scared. And he still has his briefcase.
Speedy analyses the footage further - and sees Bo Ordell in earlier the previous evening chatting to the bar keeper.
Escobar is shown the footage - and Sol suggests that Escobar calls Ordell and says his supplier fell through and needs a new supplier - then we ambush Ordell.
Team meet up with Vinny and give him the bad news that his cousin Ricky died - betrayed and set-up by Chase and Ordell. He tells us that Bo operates out of a bar called Simones. And used to run with a team of 4 other shadowrunners. Vinny recognises the 'gangers' from the night club hit as former papa mubassa people.
Molaine is contacted for info on the hit Solitaire supposedly did. It was professional 4 guys hit hard. A woman from Elysium - recognised Solitaire - and said Sol used to work for their security years ago and went rogue. A security task force headed by Alexsys Powell who is now looking for her.
Speedy and Mark go to casino to try and get footage to prove Sol was there and not doing any assassination. At casino they bump into Ordell and some arguments are had.
In discussion, info is passed that Chase is in bad rep with his supplier has many gambling debts, and hasn't made any purchases in a month. And crates that went missing in a previous deal must have been passed from Chase to the yardies to pay them off for helping him with this deal gone wrong last night. Ordell is still looking for his decker who is the 4th member of a team he was running - the other 3 killed along with Novak.
Speedy rings Sol - no conversation is had. Speedy rings up Myst and explains the the above info from Ordell.
Chase's other bodyguard - Gunther - is known to have an eye for the ladies. So Escobar suggests that Angel's Escorts could help us. Escobar asks for Trixie - and they go to a private room for a chat with Myst. Escobar shows pic of Gunther - and Trixie recognises him - he has had 2 girls delivered to his hotel room - for a party going on right now.
Team head over there, Myst hacks the lock, and an invisible Mark is standing in doorway ready to stun ball. Guy pulls gun and aims at open doorway - but doesn't see anything. Mark stun balls him, team run in, close door, and mind probes him. Mr Chase has already headed to Carribean Free League. But Gunther has 160K on him. Escobar wants Gunther shipped to Yuccatan. Team get 35K each plus share of 32K.
Speedy gets a call that Pascale (Ordell's decker) is going around to Simone's Bar - she was decking from her home and her flat mates are now dead. She's being followed - can we go and help her? So team go to meet her at Simones. She's an 18year old girl in tears.
Suddenly the people following her attack the bar, it's 3 solitare-alikes.. they fire ball the area, then mana ball the area. Mark's elementals are dissapeared, and Speedy took a Moderate.
Baddies air-time grenade the area - Speedy takes a moderate (now on 6 boxes). Steel steps out heading towards the baddies. Myst took a light, Mark took a moderate. Sol grenades down corridor. Myst steps into a side room. Baddies shoot Steel - he dies. Baddie steps into side room and Myst's delayed action splats her (Robin). Second baddie steps in and shoots Myst. Ordell shoots one and kills her. Solitaire shoots and kills the final one.
Speedy crashes car into man (Robert Denman) trying to drive off. Solitaire recognises him and gets team to take him prisoner. This guy didn't shut down the project that Solitaire was created in - and took it private as his personal assasin team and took jobs for those that could pay.
Pascal has recordings and evidence of all of Robert's dealings and rest of her team were hit when trying to hand over the info to Novak.

Project Songbird officially shut down.
Solitare gets strange flash backs. Solitare keeps Robert Denman prisoner until she works out what to do with him.
