Prologue
After the events of Red Sun Rising Myst returned with her sister Katumari Kawakita to Scotland, where she has been staying for the last few months. Everything was fine until the headaches began...
The Shadows of New Orleans have been quiet of late. The street war between the New Orleans Mafia and the Zobop has wound down to low level incidents after Papa Moubassa a Zobop gang leader was killed. Finding shadowruns has been difficult for Solitaire and Speedy but they have found a new job working for Assets Insured an agency set up by Maclaine and Morlaine and now run by Mm Du Ponte and Morlanine who have taken over after Maclaine left with Stripe to go and work for Ares External Security. Assets Insured offers bodyguarding and security work for Mr Johnson, Fixers and meets, as well as performing rescue and clean up ops for FUBAR shadowruns.
Mark was beginning to enjoy a good career as a runner in Seattle. Then he learned that a crazy man name Webb was out to kill him. Time to leave town, and look up some old friends in the Big Easy.
