Prologue
After the events of Red Sun Rising Myst returned with her sister Katumari Kawakita to Scotland, where she has been staying for the last few months. Everything was fine until the headaches began...
The Shadows of New Orleans have been quiet of late. The street war between to Mob and the Zobop has wound down to low level incidents after Papa Moubassa was killed. Finding shadowruns has been difficult for Solitaire and Speedy but they have found a new job working for Assets Insured an agency run by Mme Du Ponte who has taken over after Maclaine left with Stripe to go and work for Ares External Security. Assets Insured offers bodyguarding and security work for Mr Johnsons, Fixers and meets, as well as performing rescue and clean up ops for FUBAR shadowruns.
Mark was beginning to enjoy a good career as a runner in Seattle. Then he learned that a crazy man name Webb was out to kill him. Time to leave town, and look up some old friends in the Big Easy.
