Prologue
Xiang Feng has logged over 500 hours so far on his avater in Sims World and yet he had never seen an icon with this much detail. A simple spiders web... but when he looked closer at the web he could see the intricate fractal patterns in the web. The longer he looked the more detail was reveal, layer by layer, thread by thread... he never saw that there was a spider in the web. He knew he shouldn'd feel pain in Sim World, he wasn't even using a hot ASSIST and yet he felt pain radiadte from the small spiderbite on his hand. Black lines of code radiated out like a whirlpool from the bite, causing his avatar to shimmer. The code spread quickly and then he heard the voice, the voice of God!
Events
J.D., Stix and Eclipse are working out of J.D.'s office they get a call from Sammy Lee who puts them in contact with a Mrs Johnson called Arch Angel A woman called Gwen Stacey has been kidnapped from HKBC. A ransom note has been sent to Gwen's fiancee Xinag Feng who is a researcher in Nano Technology for HKBC The ransom note says pay 5 million in untracable corporate bonds by Midnight on the 15.10.2070. The ransom note was sent from the Eight Ball a BCS nightclub. Xiang says the BCS has treatened to kill him after he made 200K at their Black Jack tables in there casino the Lucky Heart. The team have 12 hours to find information on the kidnapping before the drop Team track Gwens car to a car park in a shopping centre. This is the last place she was seen. Someone has hacked the power to shut down the lights. The car is no longer there. Stix talks to a gang of kids who say they saw Gwen go up to her car then fall unconcious. A man dragged her into his Ford Zantec. About 3 hours afterwards two Orks with max bling turn up to take the car away. Team track the Ford Zantec to an estate. A gang is garding the car park. Ls Cs - team find car was taken by Mr Chen. They go to Mr Chens appartment passing a suited guy on the way past. Mr Chen is dead, looks like he shot himself in the head. Team chase and kill goon in suite. Goon in suite turns out to be a Corporate Protection Agent for HKBC working in Xiang Fengs lab. Has an odd chip jack in the base of his neck. The chip melts away when examined. Team track the car to a gang of Orks lead by Ten Yen. They manage to get the car back and find pictures showing Mr Chen stole the car. T Hey track the cards movements and Mr Chens commlink and find Mr Chen has in the past week... Spent 3 days sitting in his appartment. Gone to kidnap Gwen. Driven to Ten Yen's. Driven to the Lucky Heart Casino. Driven the the Eight Ball and emailed the ransom demand. Gone to the woods and then back to his appartment and shot him self. Team go to the wookds and find Gwen dead shot in the head. They find a house nearby with all of the kidnap plot layed neatly out. Looks like Mr Chen was being set up. Team get very paranoid! Team go to the money drop. Xiang takes the money to a roof top. There is a drone waiting to take the money. A big truck crashes into the corporate Alpha teams truck, the team are on there own. Stix follows Xiang and sees he has put a chip into the drone as well as the bonds. Stix runs across the roof tops to follow the drone. J.D. trys to stop Xiang but a mechanical arm appears from his back and stings him with venom. Xiang then brainwashes J.D. Stix and Eclipse follow the drone to an old power station. The go in and Eclipse gets stung and knockout by a spider drone. Stix hits and shoots several drons and kills a brainwashed copr agent. He revives Eclipse. They call in Arch Angle for back up and also J.D. mysteriously arrives. The go into a room, find the money and a mysterious automated drone surgery table. They kill anoher few drones and a corp agent. A spider drone poisons Arch Angel. Then Xiang turns up and turns into a half human half four armed drone! (Four arms: Laser, Monofilament whip, Taser and Stinger). Big Fight! J.D. trys to kill group. Arch Angle and Eclpise stun him. Everyone helps kill Xiang. Xiang downloads all of the corps nanotech data to a mysterious location.
Epilogue
Team get 100K J.D gets mysterious nanotech implants... Stix gets an Ares Alpha SMG with 2 x 20 clips of APDS Eclipse gets to go out for drinks with Arch Angel...
