Prelude
Vengence. The word itself has a hard edge to it, like sliding a knife between someones ribs. Once you commit that first act on the path of vengence you have to follow it through to the end. He knew that. He that someone was going to end up dead. He had managed to convince himselves that he wasn't responsible as he wasn't going to pull the trigger, but if you set someone up for a fall then your hands still have blood on them. What had he sacrificed for vengence? Pride is always the first to go. Then respect for yourself and then for others. Everything, everyone around you becomes a tool for vengence. She became a tool. He used her. She did her job. Now she was dead. Once you start on the path, vengence is all that matters.
