Dramatis Personae
Events
Sammy Lee assembles the team to offer them an Easy Job opportunity. Slacker Hacks the bars security on the way in to scope out all the armed locals and slip his gun past security. The Job 20,000 nuyen to snatch 1000kg of refined molybdenum (approx value 50,000 nuyen) from a refining plant and deliver to Mr Johnson at a to be specified location. The shipment is scheduled for delivery to wuxing and if we do the job on the following evening it should be preloaded, The Johson supplies full schematics of the facility, security is light and it looks straight forward. The team takes the job and starts prep, main activity is to hack some transponder codes so that when the van is noted missing knight errant drones will home in on a Pizza truck while we make a clean getaway. Bane detects no unusual astral activity and Slacker and Eclipse detect no unusual com or drone traffic. The team infiltrate over a fence, Slacker is levitated over by Bane and Eclipse almost breaks her neck and has to be levitated over as well. Banes pops some stims to steady his nerves at this point. The Technomancers hack the security system and we enter the facility the guards are currently at the far end but would be disturbed by any noise so the team is Verrry Quiet. The Van is located but the drone that was loading the molybdenum has broken down. forcing the team to wait while Bane levitates the last of the molybdenum on board. Pedal to the metal and we are away, hiding the van at The Nameless one's house a quick respray change of transponder and a little technomancy to cover the trail and we are ready to take the van to the meet. We arrive at the hold abandoned warehouse only to find no sign of the Johnson. . Eclipses drones come under data attack and We get a com call from Sammy Lee but we just see a bloody hand resting on the com. Banes is astral and see Knight Errant swat team closeing in. Sending the rigged van off on a decoy we scarper on foot. Bane pops some more stims to keep going and shares some with Slacker who being a dwarf needs a little boost to keep up with the rest of the long legged types. We get clear and regroup. Eclipses Knight Errant contact reveal they where tipped off by Crouching Dragon security which we recognise as a Black Chrysanthemums front. The team find Sammy Lee who is beaten and near death, a hack of his security reveal what they recognise as a Triad hit team doing him over. They also pull all Sammy Lee's info on the Johnson from his system. Sammy Lee is left at the street docs while they ponder there options. The team finally figure whats going on. The Johnson was with the corp who owned the facility, he was its production manager,(hence the detailed security notes they got). he is in leauge with the triads. Currently the corp runs its own security. There plan was that the team do the run and steal the molybdeum which makes the security look weak. Crouching tiger tips off Knight Errant and the run is busted, the Johnsons rival the security director looks really bad for letting the run go off, Johnson gets his job and contracts Crouching Dragon who "saved" the molybdenum to run security. The Team gets busted and Sammylee gets wasted which cover the triads and the Johnson's tracks. Happy ever after for all but the team, Sammy Lee and the security VP.
The Team debates what to do, the suggested plan of simply firebombing Crouching Dragon security is shouted down by the teams faint hearted moderates. Instead they sell the data they have to the corps security VP which screws over the Johnson, Crouching tiger and gets them some cash. Within a couple of days the Johnson "dies in a car accident" and Crouching Dragon fails get the security contract, more importantly the team gets get 15,000 nuyen.
As an epilog Sammy Lee retains the team to whack a triad hit squad as an object lesson to the Black Chrysanthemums not to mess with him. We ambush most off them in a hotel corridor and they die in a hail of bullets and spells. There Hacker jacks out before the technomancers mindfry him.

Hacking system is a bit vague. I'm made some notes at SR4 Hacking Notes
It defintly seem to runs quicker than 3rd ed. proably because less diced are rolled with less rerolling, and no debate on pool allocation. The fixed number of passes also seemed to make things quicker. I personaly really liked it, becuase I have found shadowrun's old system dragging its feet around combat. (I still remember 30 seconds game time 5 hour realtime combats) Joe
