Her infatuation and aptitude for games of chance lead to a run of good luck, accused of using magic to cheat at the exclusive ??? Casino on Hong Kong Island and forced to return all of her recent winnings or suffer the consequences. Unfortunately, Dice's bemusment at the complexities of compound interest meant that her forgotten repayments rapidly developed into a substantial debt. Making good on their threat, boys came round. Dice Overpowered the debt collectors - called her to the attention of the Casino's owner, Naomi Double, an aspiring figurehead of crime and corruption who uses her social ties to high-profile customers (and their lost assets) to expand her illicit business portfolio. Saw potential in Dice's talents, and convinced her to retrieve 'contested' property from the Casino's many clients as a means of reducing her debts. However, Dice's eternal fascination with all things shiney means she never stays off the tables for long...
