The P-600 was designed by Sig-Arms for use by Secret Service Agents. It was commissioned by a paranoid administration to deal with 'Threats' posed by Metahumanity and Magic: ''"...Packs the punch of an Uzi but fits in your holster."'' The administration changed and the order was never recived. The entire consignement was sold to a strapped for cash CAS military for use as a service side-arm.

With its rate of fire and superior stopping power, the P600 was an ambitious concept way ahead of its time, clumsily executed due to limitations of then existing technology. Most models in circulation today have been retrofitted with the MKII smartlink. Whilst regarded as a collector's piece by afficionados, the Sig P600 is still a notch above your typical gang-banger's heavy pistol found on the street.
