== Events by Webb ==
=== 21st December 2061 ===
* A video is released to [[Shadowland BBS]] showing the team blowing up a school bus. This (predictably) does not go down well and [[Shade]] [ [[Richard]] ] gets beaten up in a bar. Miguel, aka Carlos aka [[The Mole]] [ [[Chris]] ], suspects one [[Nathan Wallace]], his ex associate and opposite number.

* Team starts to investigate source of the footage, but draws a blank (another [[Shadow Run]] team is behind this, we need to find them and eliminate them) Meanwhile [[The Mole]]'s [[Mr Johnson]] (ahem) wants to offer the team a job. Considering theres now a 20,000¥ price on each of their heads, some are suspicious.

* Right before the meet, [[The Mole]] dissapears. The team bails, but [[Shade]] stays, and completes the transaction. The run is real, and so is the 12,000¥ retainer fee. But no sign of [[The Mole]] (does anybody else think what happened to him was just slightly ironic? Chris? Is this another example of sadistic GM sense of humour?) [[Wendy]], his ex, leads us to his last known address. Team arrives to find the place being turned over by bad guys. [[Webb]] & [[JC]] go in and catch one of them by surprise. He freezes. The other one stays around the corner and throws a grenade. The grenade hits a picture frame and bounces back around the corner. [[JC]] casts a barrier spell. [[Shade]], waiting outside, sees the apt windows blow out, and a bad guy fly out, screaming.

* FFWD to abandoned warehouse. Surviving bad guy tied to chair. [[Shade]] enters, and begins his interrogation session. [[The Mole]] has been buried in a nearby graveyard, aparently, on the orders of [[Nathan Wallace]]. So the team proceed to dig him up, and bury the bad guy in the coffin for future reference, with an air supply.

* The run involves extracting the [[Mr Johnson]]'s relative from the [[Children Of The Dragion]] (a [[Dunkelzahn]] cult), who want to go to the great rift and sacrifice themselves. But first we must meet with an undercover member of the good cultists (this gets quite complicated) who send the team to rescue him from the bad cultists ( [[Shade]] goes undercover and gains the trust of the good cultists).

* The meet is in a cafe. [[The Mole]] & [[Webb]] sit at a table inside, [[Shade]] sits waiting for the contact (having a latte), and [[JC]] is outside in the car with [[Wendy]]. Take note, this is [[Washington DC]]. The dude turns up, and starts telling [[Shade]] about how evil the evil people are, and how they've hired these mercs, when his head explodes. A mage stands up from the corner table. There is a hole in the window and a guy with an assult rifle across the street. [[JC]] manabolts him, it has no effect. [[Shade]] sits there holding his latte. [[Webb]] (Am)football tackles him from three meters away. Badguy fires two rounds. First one sails past, second hits, causing a light. [[The Mole]] stands up, pulls a GV4 compensated heavy pistol and levels it at the mage. Squirts her with it. She goes down. [[JC]] mana bolts the badguy, who explodes. [[Shade]] is looking up at the ceiling holding the handle of his coffee mug, wondering what happened.

* FFWD to abandoned warehouse. The mage is now tied to a chair. [[Shade]] starts his interrogation. This is less than successful(?) when the mage spontaneously combusts in a fit of fanaticism.

* The team arrive too late at the great rift, and because of the cultists, really bad stuff happens. I mean, really (see papers, TV coverage, [[Year Of The Comet]]). The mark is located among them and retrieved. The team return the package to the [[Mr Johnson]] and get paid. They use the information from the first interrogation to contact [[Nathan Wallace]] and arrange a meet in an abandoned car park. Team thinks its setting up [[Nathan Wallace]], but he is setting up the team.

* Plan: [[The Mole]] is in a car, disguised, ready to hand over his head in a box. Instead, when the bad guy drives up, he will lob in a hand grenade. [[Webb]]is camping with a rifle. [[JC]] is in a nearby building. [[Shade]] is on surveilance.

* Op: A silver [[Ameri Car]] drives up. Driver is not [[Nathan Wallace]]. [[The Mole]] offers to make the exchange. Then both cars explode. [[JC]] morphs, and flies in to pull him from the burning wreckage. Then gets shot. And regenerates. Gets shot again. [[Webb]] locks in on the heat signature and lays down supression fire. [[JC]] and [[The Mole]] get into cover. Badguy escapes.

[[The Mole]] is in hospital. [[JC]] has stolen lots of foci from unconscious cultists, [[and is now scary]]. [[Webb]] is beginning to look like his old self again after extensive surgery. Somehow, his new friend [[Wendy]] is still alive. [[Shade]] has his bottle. It is sometime in the middle of the Christmas party, that the team remember the bad guy buried in the coffin.
