[[Maclaine]] has been doing some jobs for [[Ginelli Family]].
[[Solitaire]] camped out with her [[Magic Group]] for some time learning more about the arcane arts, and discussing elvish issues that affect the group.

[[Ares Macrotechnology|Ares]] had moved into the area (venue of last run), and everyone inside was dead. 
[[Ares Macrotechnology|Ares]] man tried to debrief [[Maclaine]]. 
[[Stripe]] was in there, not amongst dead, whereabouts unknown.

[[Ares Macrotechnology|Ares]] man thinks it was the work of something associated to [[Renraku]] [[Arcology Shutdown]]. 
When it reopened several cultists (held responsibe for taking over) escaped and maybe have access to sophisticated simsense and drone tech.

[[Maclaine]] goes to the bank. and finds:

*small box (2-3 inches square, sterile, one might keep medical materials in)

;Optical chip one:Bank account number and access codes (offshore bank in: [[Carribean League]]), files which were taken from [[Cross Applied Technologies]], details their more sensitive research plans, might be out of date. states that the box is a Ritual sample that belongs to [[Amy Cross]].

[[Maclaine]] sets up his own safety deposit box at the same bank, and transfers the chips and ritual sample to it. 
Costs: 2,000 upfront; then 100 a month or 1,000 nuyen a year. 
He pays 7 years upfront.

[[Maclaine]] then contacts [[Grey Knight]] and asks for a meet. 
Meet request accepted, informed to arrive at specific location and unarmed. 
[[Grey Knight]] arrives late to meet, dressed in casual street clothes, he is in his mid 30's. 
He says [[Stripe]] was undercover in her last mission; [[Cross Applied Technologies]] seem to be tooling up and shipping in advanced drone/simsense materials, no one else in [[Cross Applied Technologies|CAT]] seemed to know about it, which is why their special forces team turned up to see what was going on. 
[[Ares Macrotechnology|Ares]] agent inside the place said it seemed the internal workers were dronelike, possibly affected by this advanced tech to become controlled by the cultists.

[[Maclaine]] asks [[Grey Knight]] if he knows about the [[Ghost Walker]] project, he does, and then explains some of the details of it. 
[[Ghost Walker]] project, was started by [[Cross Applied Technologies|CAT]], for fast implanting of skills, though it didn't work well, a bit like skillwires, but not as good as training and so they branched it into other purposes. Someone ( possibly [[Wuxing Inc]]) then sent in a [[Shadow Runner]] team to wipe the archive and backups, and steal the device. [[Myst]] might have been involved in a subsequent mission to reaquire it, though it was taken by a 3rd party, who wiped [[Wuxing Inc]]'s records. 
[[Ares Macrotechnology|Ares]] have no idea who has it now. Though some of the tech has leaked onto the streets. 
[[Ares Macrotechnology|Ares]] believs some elements within this cult that took over [[Renraku]] archology had the info and used it to brainwash people. 
[[Ares Macrotechnology|Ares]] believe [[Renraku]] might have be the final benefactors of the technology.
The [[Arcology Shutdown]] might have been an [[Artificial Intelligence]] that got this technology, the [[Artificial Intelligence|AI]] was supposed to have been destroyed when the arcology was taken back. Though AI might have survived.. if this cult is still in operation. 
People affected by the technology are highly skilled, but uninventive. 
All [[Baton Rouge]] people in the venue (of last run) were killed by nanotech [[Cutter Nanites]]? There is a chance that some escaped... 
If [[Maclaine]] discovers location of [[Stripe]], [[Grey Knight]] will help out to get her back.

== Prologue: 2 days earlier ==

[[Myst]]'s memory and skills are finally almost fully back, doctor has cost her 50,000 and has done all he can. 
[[Myst]] gets a visit from short Japanese man (calling himself [[Jurojin]]), who claims to be friend of [[Myst]]'s sister come to collect an old favour. He knows [[Myst]]'s realname is Aika. 
His boss has lost contact with assets ( [[Karatsa Gumi]] part of [[Watada Rengo]] ) in [[San Francisco Bay Area]] since [[Jeiji Saito|Saito]] took over. Including part of [[Myst]]'s sister's former [[Yakuza]] syndicate. 
[[Myst]]'s sister [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]] thinks she will be killed if she returns, [[Jurojin]] claims the situation has changed and her knowledge (and [[Myst]]'s) of the area is valuable, and will overlook past problems. Both are in debt to him and his master ( [[Myst]] suggests this is [[Ryumyo]], but doesn't have her suspicion confirmed), and so they are obliged to help. 
He hands her optical chip with info: bank account 500,000 nuyen, personel file of some [[Imperial Marines]] in [[San Francisco]]. 
The man he wants rescued is the Lt.Col of the 14th [[Imperial Marines]] [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi]]. He is under arrest when he refused to follow [[Jeiji Saito|Protectorate General Saito]]'s orders. [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi]] has been able to escape from all sorts of situations before, and so [[Jeiji Saito|Saito]] must have something over [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi]] that keeps him there.

[[Myst]] heads to [[New Orleans]], and rings [[Maclaine]] for a meet. 
[[Maclaine]] calls [[Solitaire]] to go check it out with him, to see that it really is [[Myst]]. 
[[Solitaire]] and [[Maclaine]] turn up and meet [[Myst]] and [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]], [[Maclaine]] and [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]] tumble with an Ork for a bit, then the group heads to a private room.

Team discover that [[Chef]]'s ( [[RIP]] ) business has been taken over by, [[Zion]], a former [[Bullet Monkey]] of [[Chef]]. 
[[Vinny Vincini]] has set himself up as a new fixer in town, working from [[Round 15]]. 
[[Myst]] explains to [[Maclaine]] and [[Solitaire]] about the mission she has, and both agree to go along. 
Team heads to [[Fat Larry]]'s to hire [[Stepin Node]].

[[Stepin Node]]'s boss, [[Zion]] (working for [[Japo Jamaican Consortium]]) demands upfront payment for [[Stepin Node]]'s services. 
[[Maclaine]] finds this unreasonable, so he and [[Zion]] face off. 
[[Zion]] makes the mistake of insulting the [[Ginelli Family]], and as so [[Maclaine]] pulls a gun to shoot [[Zion]] in the foot. In case there are complications, [[Solitaire]] casts armour on [[Maclaine]]. 
[[Zion]] writhes on the ground, and [[Stepin Node]] decides to take our employment offer.

Team heads back to [[Round 15]], to see [[Vinny Vincini]] asking for a contact that can arrange false [[Cred Stick]]s for us to get to [[San Francisco]]. 
[[Vinny Vincini]] arranges the team a breakfast appointment with his [[contact]] [[Mr Tailor]]

As group leave [[Round 15]] they bump into a group of [[Japo Jamaican Consortium|JJC]] guys looking to cause trouble. 
Two guys (Tango 1 & 2) with guns stepping from an alley way, and the sound of a spellcaster (Tango 3) that can't be seen.

*Solitaire assigns shielding, then shoots (burst from savlette) at Tango-1 - who dodges.
*Maclaine shoots (full auto assault rifle) at Tango-2 - who dodges.
*Myst throws 2 throwing spikes at Tango-3 (using [[Blind Fighting]]) - who dodges first and hit by second in chest - and dies.
*Tango-1 shoots two bursts at Solitaire - who dodges both.
*Tango-2 shoots two bursts at Maclaine - first misses, second is dodged.
*Katumari quickdraws [[Stepin Node]]'s gun, shoots Tango-2 - called shot to the head, he dies.
*Solitaire thunderclaps the final man standing (Tango-1) - does him serious stun.
*Maclaine shoots Tango-1 with full auto - hits two bullets in head and two bullets in chest, and kills him.

After combat, Tango-3 is inhabbited by a [[Shedim]] becomes a [[zombie]] and attacks Myst, she wallops him with killing hands.

== 22nd April 2062 ==

Meet with [[Vinny Vincini]]'s contact for false [[I Ds]] (team will masquerade as [[Renraku]] corporate types) - [[Cred Stick|Silver Credsticks]] with permits for weapons (up to [[Savlette Guardian]]) and cyberware. 
Meet with [[Don]] [[Frank Ginelli]] to see if he can put us in touch with [[San Francisco]] contacts - he says his contacts have been pretty much wiped out since [[Jeiji Saito|Saito]] took over. But if we go by [[Seattle]], he can put is in touch with folks there that can help.

[[Cred Stick]]s arrive.

Team arrives in [[Seattle]] in the evening. 
Info: [[Rowena O'Malley]] is [[Capo]] of [[Seattle]] in charge of [[Finnegan]] family. 
Team told to meet contact in [[The Corleone Bar]] when we get to [[Seattle]]. 
Team does so, and is met by [[Jimmy Mac]], (real name: [[James Michael Finnegan]]), who arranges a smuggler [[Grania O'Malley]] to take team and stuff to [[San Francisco]]. 
[[Maclaine]] & [[Solitaire]] request 4 [[Grand Dragon Missiles]] from [[Jimmy Mac]] - he can supply.

== 27th April 2062 ==

Shipped team guns arrive in [[Seattle]] from [[New Orleans]]

[[Grania O'Malley]] arrives in town, she works from [[Oak Knowles]], an old abandoned air field. 
[[Grand Dragon Missiles]] arrive.

== 29th April 2062 ==

Team fly to [[Chico Oroville]] ([[San Francisco]]) and get apartment. 
Team hire a swish car to drive around in. 
[[Stepin Node]] hacks into [[Mitsuhama Computer Technologies|MCT]] (where [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi|Takeuchi]]'s wife, [[Kiyoko Takeuchi]] works) looks up family, kids are in a school, wife is a mage listed as corporate negotiator.

== 30th April 2062 ==

[[Stepin Node]] hacks a call through to the wife ([[Kiyoko Takeuchi]]) and [[Maclaine]] tells her a team is here to rescue her husband and her and kids - and will be in touch. 
Team seek any friends of [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi|Takeuchi]] that might be in [[San Francisco]], possibly from 14th or 15th [[Imperial Marines]] - which are the ones operating under [[Jeiji Saito|Saito]]. 
[[Yoshikazu Takeuchi|Takeuchi]] had formed his own special forces team for anti-insect spirit mission in the Phillipines. His direct subordinate Captain [[Ichiro Takeyama]] was promoted and sent to 14th [[Imperial Marines]] along with his [[Special Ops]] team, and promoted to Major. 

Team agrees with a [[Solitaire]] plan (must be insane). It being that [[Myst]] dresses like a prostitute and asks for info on where special ops ([[Ichiro Takeyama]] and co) can be found. Then she will try to pick up Major [[Ichiro Takeyama]].

Plan executed. [[Myst]] finds out that [[Special Ops]] hang out at: [[Zachouchi Bar]] 
[[Myst]] goes to [[Zachouchi Bar]] and flirts until a [[Special Ops]] chap comes over to her, he is called [[Captain Fujisawa]]. 
[[Myst]] takes [[Captain Fujisawa]] to a [[sushi]] bar, where [[Maclaine]] reveals everything to him ''before'' he pays for any food (Myst was annoyed at this, [[Solitaire]] too, she was hungry) 
[[Captain Fujisawa]] asks for a meet at a run-down location in an hour. 
[[Solitaire]] astrally scouts the area first, then rest of team go to the meet.

Major [[Ichiro Takeyama]] meet team and agrees to help. 
[[Yoshikazu Takeuchi|Takeuchi]] might be held by [[Yakuza]]. 
[[Ritual Sample]] is on file for [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi|Takeuchi]] as well as the rest of the [[Special Ops]] team that will be helping us.

[[Mitsuhama Computer Technologies|MCT]] are 'in bed' with [[Jeiji Saito|Saito]], because they were annoyed at Japanese withdrawal, as it would have weakened their [[San Francisco]] presence. 
New amalgamated team plan rescue missions, must be three pronged:

To work out if [[Yakuza]] [[Karatsa Gumi]] have [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi|Takeuchi]] and where they are holding him, [[Myst]] and [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]] will snatch two [[Yakuza]] members of the [[Karasta Gumi]] to get info on [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi]]'s imprisonment.

[[Myst]] and [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]] snatch two men, and in process of interrogating them, Myst chops off one of their fingers brutally in cold blood - he then speaks, saying that [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi]] is held by the [[Oyabun]] of the [[Karatsa Gumi]] ([[Satoshi Karatsa]]) third son ([[Akio Karatsa]]) at a secluded fortified mansion in [[San Francisco]], which when named, [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]] knows. 
[[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]] executes the two snatched [[Yaks]] after the interrogation.

Having discovered the location [[Solitaire]] then scouts in the [[Astral Plane]] to get patrol patterns: 
Two patrols of two [[Yakuza]] at all times outside, one on each balcony (2 balconies) and two [[Watcher Spirit]]s approx force four lasting eight hours. 
Two patrol the outside only while the other two patrol inside and outside. 
Watchers are of various forces, so maybe multiple [[magician]]s. 
One of the shift changes: 12-midnight-8am 
[[Solitaire]] infiltrates the building on the [[Astral Plane]] (going underground and appearing in basement) evading the [[Watcher Spirit]]s and locates the room Lt.Col. [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi]] is locked in - a basement room.

== 1st May 2026 ==

*[[Maclaine]] goes down on one knee to shoot, [[Myst]] throws spikes. Both kill targets.

So far 9 tangos dead begin ''final combat scene''

*Team heads on out, and at the ENTRANCE ROOM, there is a shimmering of astral presences manifesting when [[Maclaine]], [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]], [[Stepin Node]] and [[Solitaire]] are fully in the room. [[Myst]] was outside the room (''inside(a)'') covering corridor to be final one in.
*1 greater form force nine [[Air Elemental]] in middle of room, one force six normal [[Air Elemental]] on doorways (''inside(a)'' and ''outside''), one of which blocks Myst in corridor.
*[[Solitaire]] calls her own elementals.
*[[Myst]], [[Maclaine]] and [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]] hold actions to attack when [[elemental]]s [[manifest]].

*[[Solitaire]] attacks Tango-B with burst from assault rifle, and tasks all four of her own force six [[elemental]]s to attack the [[Great Form]] force eight [[Air Elemental]].

*Tango-C's barriers heal up.
*[[Solitaire]] [[Mana Bolt]]s Tango-C (mage) and he falls over [[(Solitaire]] has to take two points of [[Bad Karma]]), should be dead, but he is unconscious, he had channeled a spirit, and so as spirit is dissipated now, he starts getting up.
*[[Solitaire]] [[Mana Bolt]]s him until he dies.
*[[Maclaine]] patches himself and gets up.
*Tango-D approaches from behind [[Myst]] but Lt.Col. [[Yoshikazu Takeuchi]] is watching [[Myst]]'s back and takes him out with a head shot.
*[[Special Ops]] Marines turn up to escort team out of the compound.
*[[Solitaire]] treats [[Maclaine]], gives back four boxes.

Team get to extraction site and Japanese Imperial Army helicopters from an off shore Imperial Helicopter Carrier (two gunships and four transports]] arrive to pick them up.
Two enemy helicopter gunships give chase but are taken out by the escort gunships.
As the helicopters depart two more enermy gunships make pursuit. These gunships are intecepted and destroyed by the [[Great Dragon]] [[Ryumyo]] who arrives on the scene - and does some fancy show-off aerial manouvres. This discourages and further pursuit and the team are extracted to the Imperial Helicopter Carrier.

Team splits 260,000 [[Nuyen]] between: [[Maclaine]], [[Myst]], [[Katumari Kawakita|Katumari]], [[Stepin Node]] and [[Solitaire]], and decide to hang out in [[Seattle]] for a while - bragging, boasting, boozing, and having outrageous parties!
