The Mackenzie detective agency is a private investigation agency operateing in the New Orleans area. The agency was intended to be front operation for a team of shadowrunners. It was paid for and sponsored by Mafia money, so that Don Ginell would have a team of shadowrunners "on call" who he knew would be sympathetic to the "needs of the familiy" It saw extensive use in the the gang wars of 2058-59. But since then it has been largly operating as a normal PI agency. Most of the 'runners associated with the agency have moved on to other things.
