== Events by Zeus ==

This was the first mission that [[Stephen]] and [[Skimble]] went on. The characters involved were [[Zeus]], [[Spog]], Kali-Mar, Flare, Blondy, [[Mr Sinister]], and [[Black Cat]].

Zeus was a mage, created by [[Stuart]] for [[Skimble]] as it was his first [[Shadow Run]] [[character]]. He therefore didn't have much of a personality built into his spells or personal effects - he did however have an [[Ares Predator II]], which became [[Skimble]]'s signature weapon for pretty much every character after that (partly due to laziness when it came to spending that damn starting cash!).

[[Zeus]], [[Spog]], Kali-Mar, Flare and Blondy were all called to the warehouse base of a mysterious [[Mr Johnson]]. He gave them the basic outline of the mission (break into a university Thaumaturgy department and steal a pinkish gold magical artefact) and introduced them to [[Cat]] and [[Mr Sinister]], who'd just arrived with a professor extracted from the university.

At length it was decided that the best way to go about the mission was to infiltrate the university campus as students, and the plan was hashed out in the back of a pub called the "Black Lobster".

[[Zeus]] used his evil [[fixer]] [[Nemesis]] (another element of the character 'kindly' provided by [[Stuart]] - [[Nemesis]] was his pet [[NPC]] fixer for screwing people over and putting out contracts on them etc.) to get himself, [[Spog]], and [[Black Cat]] registered as students. They had to pay the replacement cost to actually get ID cards from the grinding bureaucracy of the university, of course (another 100 nuyen down the tubes) [[Mr Sinister]] used the less expensive but more morally reprehensible option of ruthlessly assassinating a student (monofilament garotte) and stealing his identification. [[Spog]] attended an electronics lecture and heckled the lecturer - unusally for a [[Troll]] by using insight into electronices rather than raw abuse.

[[Zeus]] got into the labs and found the professor's office, then nuked the lock with a Powerbolt and went inside.

(I don't have any more notes after that point, but I think it went relatively smoothly. I seem to remember the [[Mr Johnson]] trying to screw us on the price. Plus ca change? Non, c'est la meme chose, mes amis. - Skimble)
