The socially transmitted behavior patterns of the 'parent' generation, usually out of sync with that of their children. Generational differences are nothing new, though it is a feature of the yonger generation's culture to trivialise that of their parents by labeling it a 'Mom and Pop' culture, or for short 'Pop Culture'.
