Background

Kenjo was born in a very deprived are of Kowloon. From a very early age he had a sense of justice and a desire to do what was right for people. He never cared much for the triads, he disliked the way they extorted money from people and hated their drug business. He vowed that he would never be like them, he decided that the best way to fight the triads would be in the police. Knowing that it was unlikely that a poor lowerclass person could ever become a policeman he studied as hard as he could in order to get top marks in the exams.

Once at the academy he astounded his instructors with his dedication and determination to work. He was twice comended for his bravery and graduated as the top cadet in his class. He quickly gained a reputation as a good honest cop and earned the respect of his superiors and collegues. Once he had a few years under his belt he was transfered to a major crimes division. He was interested in getting someone on the inside of a triad gang.

It took him a while to select his target, a young girl who ran drugs and pirate HK action movies for them. He figured if he put enough pressure on her she would crack and tell him everything. What he hadn't counted on was her stubbornes and hostility to the police. Eventually she relented, when she realised she was going to prison, however she didn't give up, she completely surprised him by making him an offer to help her! He was so surprised that she had the balls to make him an offer he listned to it. In return for her giving him information when she got out of prison he would help her when she needed it.

When she got out he acted as her handler and they worked together quite a lot. He eventually fell for her and felt that she should give up a life in the shadows and get a proper job. When he told her this it didn't go how he planned, she threw the flowers in his face and poured the wine all over his new suit.

Over the next few months they started talking and agreed that they should go on a 'break' however that ended when he saw he in a club with another guy. One thing led to another and the guy ended up getting arrested and Kenjo and (eclipse) got back together. They now have an on again off again relationship, the main problem is that he wont admit how much he cares about her and she wont admit the same. His work friends take great plesure in joking around with him that he can't keep a girl.

He was involved in the assassination of King Tiger and during the assault got sliced up by a spirit tiger. Despite a valiant attempt to save his life by Eclipse.
