Powerful form of spirits whihc can only appear in this plane by being summoned into a host body. they then inhabbit and mutate the host body to form an insect form.
Insect spirits are found in hives.
The insect spirits were found to be using the organisation the Universal Brotherhood to promote their goals, until the UCAS FBI took the lead in shutting them down, which was followed by other world governments.
Insect spirirts took over Chicago in the events of what is known as Bug City in 2055.
