Lantau Island, Hong Kong
Lan Tau Island is 150 square kilometres (58 square miles) in size and is home to several religious institutions. At Tai Shui Hang, on the northeast coast, is the Trappist Haven, a closed Christian order whose members maintain a strict vow of silence. Mostly undeverlopped this is a nature preserve and home to many Buddist monastaries. Its also a prime site to harvet magical taleman material.
