A Chinese magician who actually was Chinese, Kuei Shih was a freelance agent occasionally paid by the Tirs to act as a deniable operative when magical threats arose on foreign soils. As such, he briefly accompanied the team when they were finishing up thier problems with Odioso.
Kuei Shih was a practiced conjurer, who used that as the primary magical tool in his arsenal, unlike most occidental magicians with their obsessions with sorcery. He was notable for sending very high Force draconic spirits to attack his enemies.
His name has variously been translated as Master of Spirits or Teacher of Demons, depending on how dodgy your translation service is. And not at all dependent upon the player sticking together two words out of a book of tales and hoping the resultant name made sense. No.
